From Couch to 5K – Day 4

10 pounds lost, and I am starting to feel better. One thing I have learned, is even though I am still trying to make smarter choices in my eating habits, I have not given everything up. Friday night tacos are a must (Welcome to Moe’s) 😉 I also have eaten ice cream, but instead of a regular size, I get a kid’s size in a cup, no cone, This way, I do not feel like I am depriving myself. Tonight, for example, I wanted candy so I had it. Two mini Reese’s cups and gave the rest to the kids. There are also certain things I know I can never touch again, or I will lose all my will power, such as a McDonald’s coke (Oh, McDonald’s coke, how I miss thee)

Things I have totally given up:

Soda (even diet, which they say is also bad for you)

Creamer (Sorry International Delight, I did #likemycoffeewhite

Anyone else have any tips for me?

 

FROM COUCH TO 5 K DAY 4 (08/03/16)

Weight 162 lbs. (weight loss to date 10 lbs!! Double digits, yeah, baby!)

28:30 minutes

Overall Distance –  1.64 Miles (inc. warm up and cool down)

Calories Burned: 236
